Aadil and Kshitij runners-up at Malaysian Amateur Championship
The Indian team comprising Aadil Bedi and Kshitij Naveed Kaul finished runners-up at the 116th Malaysian Amateur Championship at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Golf and Country Club, Kuala Lumpur. Bedi shot 73, 71, 73 and 71 for a total score of 288, while Kaul shot 68, 66, 75 and 75 for a total of 284. Team Thailand won the championship. In the individual competition, Kaul finished tied-5th, while Bedi claimed the tied-7th spot out of 130 amateurs. Two members were combined to make a team and their gross scores were counted. Team India will play special practice sessions at the Pandokindah Golf Club, Jakarta, from May 20 to 25.
